Instructor: Vynnie the Gardener

So you want to build a decorative and functional garden? Want to get the materials for free?  Join us in this awesome workparty workshop and learn the power of a great local resource - urbanite! Urbanite is reclaimed demolition concrete destined for the landfill.

We will work together to build a spiral garden planter as we learn to reduce our expenses, reuse some rubble, and recycle a great idea for building a raised veggie garden.  Hone your manual art skills and learn about the benefits of growing veggies in a raised planter.  In addition to urbanite instruction, Vynnie the Gardener will discuss what veggies to plant for the fall, how to prepare the soil, and options for watering the garden.

**Note: We are interested in volunteers to remain after the class to help complete building the urbanite spiral.

How to Register: You may use this site to register. After you register, you will receive an invoice. We encourage you to prepay for this class! If you have any questions, email classes@vpaaz.org.

Class fee is $15 or ATTEND WITH A FRIEND: 2 for $25. Fee is payable in advance or at the door with cash or check. (Make checks out to  Valley Permaculture Alliance).
