Community Event: Child and Adult Care Food Program Summit

The Health & Nutrition Services Division (HNS) of the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) is preparing for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) renewal summit. The summit will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Mesa Convention Center. Summit attendees will include directors, owners and managers of child care/learning centers, preschool and head start programs. Based on last year’s data, we anticipate hosting 400 – 500 participates. 

The theme for this year’s summit is gardening and farming and they are hoping to encourage more centers to start school gardens as well as purchase local.
