about the class:

First Earthworks, then rain tanks and greywater! Once you have your water harvesting earthworks design in place, it is now time to think about if you should invest in storage capacity or add gretwater to your design. You will learn the best ways to store rainwater for later use between rains, and if it is necessary for your water harvesting goals. In addition to harvesting the FREE rain, our attention will also be directed to how we can recycle water, often called greywater, to irrigate our high water use trees and shrubs. The ADEQ 13 best management practices will be reviewed and questions answered on proper soaps and appropriate greywater use.
